Desserts can be an integral part of a patient’s diet, containing higher levels of calories to build back strength and energy, as well as being an easy-to-eat option with usually soft and digestible consistencies.
We have the benefit of a fantastic in-house Development Chef, Wayne Harris, who over many years has created and tweaked our recipes to perfection. He works closely with the network of NHS chefs, staying on-top of trends and dietetic-led advice.
Our best-selling pudding is of course the Jam & Coconut Sponge, a firm favourite across NHS customers and within our business, followed closely by the irresistible Sticky Toffee Pudding, both paired perfectly with lashings of our hot custard!
